If so, you can be contagious for almost 2 weeks after you've recovered. I'm currently avoiding a friend of mine who had the flu last week! I would have visited Tuesday (while I had a babysitter) but came down with a stomach bug on Monday night - Tuesday. My 7 month old also had a touch of the bug this week but as of Friday was normal. I feel terrible that I haven't visited yet, but I DO NOT want to get her baby sick. My best friend and her hubby are both doctors and have said "come whenever you are up to it." I know they want us to visit, but I also know how sick I was earlier this week. (It's now Saturday).</p> <p>How long would you wait to visit? </p>
