We use carlsons d drops too.
Honestly, my LO was born in the spring and we were outdoors a lot, we're not that dark of skin so I didn't worry too much about it. Now that it's winter I've been giving them to her more, though still not as much as recommended. She's in the 85% for height and a happy girl at 7 months despite not always supplementing.

Mine did, and I started out using poly, but from everything I read, Vitamin D is the only thing BF babies really need. So I switched to D-vi-sol. Smells sweet, doesn't stain, and LO doesn't mind it.

Use tri-vi-sol. My pedi said either poly or tri and she said tri tastes better. I haven't tasted it myself but it smells like Ludens cherry cough drops (which are basically candy)

My pediatrician recommended them too, but we never did. I know I should be giving her D drops since she's breastfed, but she's in the 98th% for height and I never got D drops and I turned out healthy and fine.
This is what we got!

AAP recommends fortification. We use Carlson's D drops which are completely tasteless and they only need one drop to get their daily allotment of D. One bottle lasts a whole year!

Do you supplement your breastfed babies with a Vitamin D drop supplement? My pediatrician recommended poly•vi•sol which smells and tastes pretty bad and my LO throws it up. Wondering if there are more baby friendly options out there.
