Now I'm not sure what to do. Do I sue? See what VW will do in trade-in? I can't find the story right now, but apparently back in the 80s they did something similar. I grew up in VWs, and though I haven't owned one myself in 10 years, I have always had a soft spot in my heart for them. When I got pregnant, I traded in my Golf for a TDI Jetta Sportwagon. I love diesels, I love manual transmissions, and hatchbacks, so it was a natural choice. The TDI has been a great car, and so much fun to drive. </p> <p>I'm outraged by this scandal. I want to know how far up it went in the company. So far there's no word from VW about what to do.
