I totally admit to not being a super active pregnant woman, (or not pregnant even) but maybe you should try lowering what you're doing as your pregnancy is progressing. If it doesn't make a difference then go back up. I know for me certain activities make my stomach/nausea worse, so this could just be one of those random things.

Can't hurt to bring it up at your next OB visit.

I think it could be for a couple reasons. Either A) your body is telling you to gear down or B) maybe you're getting too dehydrated / not eating enough like above mentioned.

I found a few weeks ago, every workout made me dry heave, even just a warm up. The last few weeks have been much better and I haven't felt sick at all. Just listen to your body and see what helps

This happened to me but it occurred immediately after my workouts (crossfit). I workout in the mornings and noticed I would end up dry heaving into my toilet after working out. The only thing that helped was to eat something small before exercise, which I didn't do before. It wasn't every workout and did get better in the last two trimesters. I didn't change my workouts just made sure to eat and hydrate. I exercised until I was 37 weeks.

I would lower the intensity of whatever you are doing for a few workouts and see if it changes anything - if you stop getting nauseous then probably you were going too hard before and your body is telling you to slow down....if you get the exact same reaction with lower intensity i would imagine its more due to morning sicknesses last gasp.

It could just be a fluke. But it's happened more than once. So with that in mind, even though you were working out before the pregnancy, it sounds like you're over exerting yourself (without really realizing it) and your body is trying to tell you to dial it down a little. Puke and Rally is not a good pregnancy mantra!

Hope you feel better!

I've been active for long before I got pregnant and have been keeping up with what I was doing prior to pregnancy with my midwives full support.
I'm 18 weeks and lately I've been getting really sick during workouts, feeling nauseous and throwing up. Usually just once, but this morning was three times.
I slow down and take deep breaths, drink water, keep going and then I'm fine.
I still get morning nausea even in the second trimester so sometimes I wonder if it's partly that in combination with increased exertion.

Did anyone else have this happen? If you brought it up to doctor/midwife, were they concerned?
