It’s pretty annoying to never know when you’re going to start bleeding. This also never happened to me with my other two kids. But usually in about 3 months it was regulated, so hopefully you will see the same.</p> <p>ETA if you keep having random bleeding I wouldn’t hesitate to call your ob and have them weigh in. You’ve been posting pregnancy tests for several weeks, and if you’re currently just 5 weeks postpartum that is very concerning, especially because I can’t even imagine having sex when I was 1 or 2 weeks postpartum (and I can’t imagine a doctor would be a proponent of it so please consider that). You seem extremely fixated on your current and future fertility, yet you just had a baby and there is no way your “cycles” are going to be anywhere near normal. I also am just venting. I can’t use birth control cause it messes with my emotions. I just track my cycles and we use a few other methods of prevent pregnancy. I just prefer knowing my body and cycles. I don’t like this craziness. </p> <p>So my cycles are just weird. I had a period postpartum like I usually do, cause I don’t breastfeed due to meds I’m on, at 5 weeks. It lasted 9 days which was fine. However I had another period 8 days later. It lasted 5 days. Well then I had another “period” 18 days later that only last two days. I’m not pregnant so I thought my luteal phase was just short so this cycle I tracked to make sure nothing else was wrong. However I think I already ovulated sometime between Saturday till yesterday. I’ve used OPKs and never got a positive but now my cervix is closed and my OPKs are SUPER SUPER negative. I had some intense cramping Saturday to the point I needed ibuprofen. </p> <p>Another reason I’m concerned is my husband and I do plan to have one more baby but we are waiting a bit. I just don’t want this to continue for a long time. Any ideas and thoughts? Sorry if this is a lot. I’ve been hesitant about posting this. I know postpartum bodies are weird but I’d like to understand what is going on. My last two babies my cycles were on track no issue. </p>
