I wouldn't be able to do it without some sort of childcare. My mom has been coming over, every work day, since I came back from maternity leave (LO is 16 months now). I think it would be really hard to do all the time. I can do less the 2 days and more the 3 days I am in the office. I work like crazy during naptime, after bedtime if needed and sometimes I get up really early to work. depends on the day what is needed. It's my own business so I can work independently and don't have to rely on a boss or coworkers. I do have deadlines though so it does need to get done. I try and do most of it during her nap. The odd day she will be really good and independent and let me open the laptop and do some work. Some days, cartoons and a pile of toys keep her occupied. Other days she wants to climb on top of me and the laptop so those days I get not much done.
