I work full-time (37.5 hours), 4 days at home, 1 day in office.

DS is in full-time daycare. Our daycare is less than 5min from our house, so it is nice to be able to quickly drop off and pick up which shortens his time at daycare and/or commuting. Days where he has stayed home bc DH is off, or MIL is keeping him on occasion are awful for my work - I definitely feel drawn to help them out during the day.

I just began to WAH 20 hours a week (from full time SAHM). I have no additional childcare so I work in the early morning, late evening and days DH is off. It's a blessing to be able to do it at home but it is a lot more stress than I anticipated since it's not like I'm getting any break from DS during the day.

I worked at home FT after LO 2 was born. We alternated between FT daycare/preschool months and some months 3x a week when DH had a consistent schedule with 2 days off during the week.

I WAH full time which really has been working out to about 32 hours lately.
My LO is in full time daycare.....usually 9-4ish. Like Lamariniere, I can't work with B at home but I enjoy the flexibility of being able to pick him up early for fun activities sometimes.

When he was a baby, 3-9 months, I worked from him with him at home with me. It was a nightmare.

I have two office days when DD1 is in preschool all day and then shoot days weekly during busy season, mixed in with travel days. Next year I'm not sure what I'll do about childcare for DD2. I have some time before my season ramps up though.

I WAH and am self-employed. Since I work on a freelance basis, I can have very busy weeks working 12+ hours per day or very slow weeks working just half days.

My two LOs are in full time daycare (8:30ish to 4:00). I cannot work with my LOs underfoot, so daycare is a must. That said, I love the flexibility and am almost always available for illness or school closings/holidays.

I was working 20-30 hours but with busy season, I'm assuming it will be 40+. Both DD and DS will go to preschool/daycare FT.

With DS1, I WAH two days a week and office three days a week. My mom was always our primary care. When we were still nursing, she'd be over at our house and I'd nurse LO as needed while holed up in our den for most of the work day. He's now 3 and attends parttime preschool for 4.5 hours three days a week.

DS2 - I now work at home mostly except for a few days a month in the office. My mom is still our primary care, but depending on the day she'll watch him (or both boys) at her house.

The days that she watches the kids at our house, I feel like I'm trying to do everything with work and everything I can to try and lessen the load with the kids for my mom too!

I'm grateful for our balance and situation, but it's definitely hard to balance work during the day and sometimes I push it out to just work when the kids are down for the night!

What is your work schedule if you work at home? What is your childcare?
