@junebugsmama: I know, I should be complaining! At least you only have a week or so to go

@Anya: yes, I just want to fast foreword to 30 weeks.

@blackbird: that stinks. You're due in May also, right? The nausea suuuucked.

@Mrs. Lion: I saw your post and I'm so glad they were able to stop the contractions. Lu certainly don't wish to deal with the dangers of preterm labor.

@Mrs. Jacks: Aw! You're adopting, right? I think I saw your blog post

@pmrlady: you're right, I am loving the kicks but DH can't feel them yet. He is talking to my belling and calling baby by the name we picked out. I love looking at the clothes too. I have to restrain myself from buying since I know we'll get gifts.

@Espion: "you, get here now!" Made me giggle!

@ElbieKay: Oh, I definitely don't want him to be born premature. I just want it to be May already

@blackbird: @Espion: This pregnancy, I'm just so tired plus the morning sickness. I feel like I don't have time to be lazy when I need to worry about LO's needs. At least, I know that the newborn phase sucks and what to expect with it. My parents' next door neighbor was hilarious about her second's arrival. She had to be induced, so she's like "keep him in there awhile longer since I know it's going to be more work."

I totally feel that way sometimes. But I am also trying to enjoy our time right now since soon we will be a family of three. Also this may be our one and only, so I'm trying to soak everything up. I have enjoyed doing weekly photos and journaling in a weekly bump book. I'm 30 weeks.

@Espion: We are still undecided about a second, but I started enjoying our first soooo much more once he learned how to crawl (just before seven months). He can explore so much more independently, and he is so excited about everything. It's a lot more fun than even three or four months old. Plus, it's fun to feed him solids!

Just remember that if your baby is bigger (i.e., born on time or a little late), s/he will have a bigger stomach and therefore be able to eat more and therefore potentially sleep for longer stretches! It is worth the wait!!

I'm excited to meet the twins but not wanting the process to speed up at all. I love enjoying the quality time with my son and I know once the twins get here my life will be turned upside down. Plus not knowing if they'll come at 28 weeks or 38 weeks is surprise enough.

@Espion: hahaha right! I agree, I feel more zapped this time around. And before I got pregnant, I was FULL of energy. 4:45am gym sessions, running around like a maniac...pregnancy mostly makes me feel like a foreigner in my own body, which is easily my #1 struggle with it

@blackbird: @cascademom: My pregnancies can't compare to how rough yours have been (no morning sickness), but this second pregnancy gig is still rough. I'm having a way tougher time with discomfort, severe lack of energy, etc. this time around than I ever did with E. Maybe the first pregnancy just saps all your resources and reserves...

The newborn stage wasn't my total favorite, so I waffle between "you! get here now!" to "you are portable, you eat, you sleep...ehhhhh, you can stay". :p

@macintosh: I'm 39w2d and I have been ready since about 34 weeks lol. That's when things really started to get uncomfortable for me in terms of sleeping, pain, heartburn...etc.

But feeling the kicks and movement get stronger is definitely something to look forward to, especially when DH gets to feel it and gets all excited..also having everyone be extra nice to you and offering you a seat when you start looking really big...then there's the baby shower, getting gifts, and setting up the nursery. That was fun..I loved going to Buy Buy Baby and looking at all the cute tiny clothing

I want our baby to cook longer. Then again, I'm not the one carrying him, so maybe I'd feel differently if I was. Still when I was pregnant, I really didn't feel uncomfortable until about 36 weeks and I was so anxious about labor and delivery that I wanted her to keep cooking :)

@blackbird: Glad I'm not the only one whose not liking pregnancy the second time around. Having morning sickness with a toddler was so tough. Now, it's just exhaustion that makes it so much harder than the first time around when I could be lazy without worry. We're only planning two, so I should enjoy this pregnancy more, but I'm just okay with it and worried for how it will be with two kids.

Every day of my life! I was in the hospital this week for possible preterm labor at 30 weeks, and I was so frustrated with myself for secretly wanting her to be born, because I know it is obviously way too soon...but I am just so excited to meet her!

I know what you mean, I really don't want her to come early but I also wish I could FFWD to week 40. Especially after 20 weeks when there aren't too many more "milestones" as far as scans and such. Some things I am looking forward to while I pass the time are planning some sort of special date night with my husband before we become a family of 3, spending time on the baby's room, and taking care of business like the hospital tour.

It's so hard to live in the moment and enjoy pregnancy. You are at the best part though too! So just do your best. Congratulations!

My good friend just gave birth to a baby boy this week and I'm so excited for her! A few other Facebook friends also had their babies this week. I'm only 21 weeks but suddenly I'm so excited to meet our son!

I certainly don't want to deliver early if I can avoid it, but I suddenly feel like I want to skip ahead to 40 weeks and deliver. I just can't wait to hold my baby and see my husband with him.

Did anyone else feel this way? I feel like I should enjoying being pregnant. I certainly am loving the kicks, but I find myself counting down the weeks til my 3rd trimester. What else about pregnancy do I have to look forward to?
