My kid wakes up no later than 5:45. I sure as hell was not getting up that early when I was pregnant with him!

Baby wakes up in 6 o'clock hour but that's what time we have to get up to get ready for work. Don't know what her natural schedule would be otherwise.

Not true here. I always woke up around 7am during my first pregnancy. Sometimes 8 if I slept in. LO1 has been an early riser (between 4-5am) since he was a year old (because he didn't STTN before 1)!

Super interesting concept. I naturally get up between 6-7am (sometimes 5:30 on work days)...DD gets up around 7 most days...

We have tried to get her to sleep in but it just doesnt appear to be in her DNA... :)

I woke up later during pregnancy and baby now does too. But I also pushed her bedtime back later than many kids to get the wake up time I want.

God, I hope not - I'm up several times a night with E, and then early in the morning - I am hoping this baby I'm carrying is going to be an awesome sleeper!

For half of my pregnancy, I worked an awful early morning shift. I woke up at 2 am. For the last half of my pregnancy I worked mostly at 7 am, and woke most of the time at 6:30. I hated them both. Baby is a night owl like me and we both sleep til 8 or 9 most days.

I get up early, around 530/6 most mornings. I've always been a crap sleepover. DD would sleep til 9 if we let her so this doesn't hold true with us.

I voted your last option, which I think is supposed to be "I woke up later, baby wakes up early." Both my girls are early risers, and I slept in with the first and woke up early with my toddler with the second.

I read somewhere that a study showed that what time you woke up in the mornings while pregnant has an impact on what time baby wakes up. I'm just curious if that seems to be true for people here. My baby definitely doesn't wake up very early (8-9 most days, and it used to be 10 or later), and I did sleep in while pregnant. My stepmom, on the other hand, got up early while pregnant with my sister who is a somewhat early riser. And she got up even earlier when pregnant with my brother (to be up before my sister), and he wakes up crazy early. So I guess it seems true, but how much of a role does genetics play? If we had gotten up contrary to our natural tendencies, would baby still go with that?

(Allowing multiple votes, but that can skew the results (no way to vote for the same thing more than once if your kids are the same), so be sure and comment in that case! 😄)
