I flipped M over for a few days and then she got used to it. She used to wake herself up and cry because she didn't like being on her belly. Now she always sleeps on her belly! It'll get better soon!!

i flipped charlie over for awhile, but he never cried when he flipped onto his stomach. i know that cio worked for a lot of parents, but if she's crying, i would flip her over. she'll figure it out soon enough!

@Rubies: DD does this as she is falling asleep but now she will stay on her side or tummy which freaks me out! Luckily it is only during the first hour or so at night, so I just flip her to her back before I go to bed. She cried & screamed for about the first week but then stopped as she learned how to roll the other way as well. Good luck!! As soon as I feel like I have a good routine or her figured out, she changes! ah! haha know the feeling

LO started turning over in her belly at 4 months and we went through the same thing because she actually didn't know how to flip back over. We did the flip her back over, she goes on her belly and cries again dance for a little while until I either had to put her down asleep again or just let her cry. She eventually just got used to being on her belly and mostly sleeps that way now. You just have to wait it out unfortunately. It didn't take her that long to adjust and she sleeps much better on her belly now. They really keep us on our toes don't they?

She will get the hang of it soon. It took a few weeks but my LO got used to belly sleeping. Until then I just went in and flipped her over. It should just be a short phase, don't worry.

Helllllllllllllllllp. LO is a great sleeper at night and fairly good napper. That is, she USED to be. Three days ago she learned to roll onto her belly in her sleep and this wakes her up because she HATES being on her belly. She hasn't learned to roll back so she's screaming her head off and can't get back to sleep.

What did you do? CIO? Put a 'blocker' so prevent her from rolling?
