With Xander, I usually just let him play (unless my boobs are hurting, haha). I definitely use that time to get ready and get things done while he's happily entertaining himself!

I use that time to shower and get mostly ready - I'm too lazy to get up earlier :) it's so lovely when they start being happy!

When C does that, I let her go until she starts to get fussy. Most of the time, she goes back to sleep.

When DD did that, I would let her play and babble to herself for a bit just to kind of get myself awake and let her just be. As soon as she started fussing, then I would get up to see her. I think it's good to let them just figure things out for a bit! :)

This weekend, LO (12 weeks) started waking up and playing instead of crying. It is so bizarre. If it is in the middle if the night I just ignore him or rock him and he will go back to bed. In the mornings, I've been getting him up and feeding him.

The odd thing is, he usually goes into immediate meltdown mode when he is hungry. DH thinks we should just leave him in his RNP to talk and play if he isn't crying. After 8 1/2 hours he surely must be hungry though, right?

Should I just leave him until he cries (if this continues) or would you feed him? He is so happy in the morning. I love it!
