@Pepper: she tolerates it when she's in a good mood but won't go to sleep in it.

We got three little naps today, one 30 minutes in my arms (after bouncing and rocking for half an hour), another half hour in the crib, and half an hour in the carrier. So no break for me but at least she is a teeny bit less cranky.

@Foodnerd81: Does she tolerate the swing? I know I've asked you that before but I can't remember! The swing and I are BFF. I don't know what I'd do without it.

@Pepper: less than three more weeks until we are out if that 4th trimester! She's finally sleeping in my arms as I bounce on the ball. I'm staying just like this until my arm falls off I guess.

@Foodnerd81: I always nurse/bottle feed before bedtime, but sometimes he isn't fully asleep when I lay him down. He's always drowsy, though. He usually wakes up a little when I lay him down, but once I stick his binky in, he's out or out within a few minutes. It will get better! I think you'll see a major turning point once she's out of the "fourth trimester"

@Pepper: thanks- I thought I remembered a recent question like this but couldn't find it. I'm really hoping this phase passes. I just am not even functioning. Do you nurse/feed Your Lo to sleep or can you lay him down awake now?

@Cherrybee: hopefully C can have a good night like E did soon! We are going backwards- brought her into our bed yesterday after weeks of sleeping in her own room.

You know I've been dealing with crap-naps for the last few days and the night before last E woke up in the night for no apparent reason (an hour after eating) - she hasn't done that for weeks.... so I am there with you!!!! 10 weeks must be some sort of undocumented sleep refusing milestone!

@Foodnerd81: Hugs. Is C 10 weeks? I posted a very similar thread at 10 weeks... http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/early-sleep-regression-1

It got SO much better shortly after that. I really do blame it on a wonder week. Additionally, his sleep improved by leaps and bounds at about 12 weeks. SUCH an improvement. Not to jinx myself, but he goes down to bed really easily and often STTN or has one hungry wake up (like right now -- but I was anticipating that because he fell asleep while eating before bed). I really think it'll get better for you soon!

Oh, and naps are always tough for us too... No real advice there. I can get him down for a nap in the swing or if I swaddle him. If you figure out a solution to naps, let me know! ;)

I'm losing it. C has been a cranky, not napping mess for three days and now is waking up every two hours at night? Since she was maybe three weeks old she's had one 4-6 hour stretch to start the night. Suddenly it's every couple of hours and I might go insane. I'm as tired as I was in the newborn phase.

Is this some normal horrible sleep time? Do I just have a really difficult baby? I'm so tired, and I'd nap when the baby naps if she was take a f-Ingrid nap! This is the second night in a row of bad sleep. Last night we brought her into our bed and got a few extra hours out of her but I didn't sleep as well. Better than I am right now sitting in the rocking chair though.
