We have never used it in the street/traffic but it works well in the store. I attach it to the cart and he has the option to hold it and walk or sit in the cart. In the street/parking lot he MUST hold our hand or we will hold onto him (occasionally I put my hand on his head). She doesn't want to be carried anywhere, but if I let her walk and try to hold her hand she just sits down and eventually it escalates to a tantrum. </p> <p>I saw this "walking handle" on Amazon, but am wondering if anyone has experience with these / if they work?
