I MUCH prefer it to cool mist - makes the room warmer, easier to breathe, and - and this is the big one - most warm mist humidifiers are filter-free. I hate changing the filter and worrying about mold in cool mist humidifiers. We live in a really cold climate in a really old house so we already have issues with the cold but add moisture to the air and it becomes downright miserable. I was wondering if anyone in similar circumstances has tried the warm mist humidifiers and found them to be more comfortable? </p>
