We figured she could wear the fleece insides in the car with a blanket and then we could zip her in the puffy part of the coat when she gets out of the car. I've looked at 2 and even though they looked puffy, they didn't seem warm enough for crazy cold, especially since we walk everywhere and don't drive. I would love to fond one from Gap that actually seemed warm enough. Winters in Chicago are brutal. We have a North Face one but it's on the thin side.
