Not only the issue discussed in the article, but overheating as well. Since she's still in an infant seat (not for long though, girlfriend is tall) we have a fleece-lined "shower cap" cover over her car seat. And when it's really cold we also put a hat and mittens on her. It adds another 5 minutes but i do it anyways. Though i have to admit i keep her in her jacket if it's a 5-10 minute drive. We don't bother with snow pants right now. I have a hard time though when you live in a climate that is sooo cold about how to dress them. Currently, we bundle up in all the winter gear and then take it off to put in the seat.
