I've tried the vinegar on cotton with non-breathable Band-Aids. That worked once but not again after. I had one burned off at the doctor's. It was really painful!</p> <p> The one thing that was super easy and worked wonders recently was vitamin e. Just buy the gel capsules​, prick a hole in it and rub a little on the wart a few times a day. Of course the liquid stuff at this point isn't "painting on" so we tired the dots and bandages. The one on his head is being REALLY stubborn and his skin is kinda irritated. I tried everything from the dr. Scholl's treatments, duct tape, I went to the doctors for multiple visits.... </p> <p>If it's pretty big, I'd recommend going to the doctor. I found liquid nitrogen to be the most effective treatment. The last time I was trying to get rid of them I think I went to the doctors every two weeks for 6 months. They can be really stubborn. I'm in Canada so it was free for me. The next best treatment I think would be the duct tape. But it's really important to keep the duct tape small and only cover the war. I found the duct tape was too big it would move around in my sock and I think it's spread the warts and I got more. But if you keep the duct tape small enough, I think it's the best treatment as it's painless and less maintenance. They tried to freeze it off over several visits and it cost us thousands of dollars and was very traumatic. The doctor conceded it wasn't worth the anxiety and pain for him and recommended doing an over the counter. I tried Compound W but it didn't completely work. My preferred method would be the duct tape--painless and no scar.
