But it worked really well for us. Kinda sad that we were both in tears. </p> <p>My la leche ladies swear by pulling the baby in so they can't breath. They will automatically unlatch. That's when you say no and try again.</p> <p>One thing to note, was that every time teeth came in I had to teach him how to latch correctly again. P just recently got her 2 bottom teeth and she's "kinda" bit me twice, more was gripey b/c her teeth and was going "da da da" on my nip. For the most part though she always latches correctly. My MIL stopped nursing a BIL at 4.5 months because he did this, but I don't want to stop nursing him yet. But now every time he goes to latch on I tense up! </p> <p>Any advice? Or commiseration? </p>
