She's been so difficult at bedtime that it took a week for it to even hit me that my baby is sleeping in a big girl bed now. She's been trying to get in the big bed for so long I guess it eased me into the transition a bit. It makes me feel nervous and tearful. I know the third trimester hormones aren't helping! She seemed so scared and confused when we left the room, like she didn't understand. We'be been playing in her new room for a month or so and calling it her big girl bed but she's only 23 months so I don't think she really got it. She only cried for a few minutes then went right to sleep so I know it was a relatively good first night, but I can't shake the emotional feeling!</p> <p>I feel sad she's old enough for a bed, guilty that we are maybe pushing the transition on her because of the baby on the way, and slightly worried because she's now sleeping on a different level than us. </p> <p>Poor Dh had to calm her tears then come out and deal with mine :silly: :crying: </p> <p>Was anyone else emotional for the transition too? </p>
