A little harder because I gained a few more pounds this time around. I am 7w pp and can wear all of my clothes but am stil squishy in the middle. I just started working out again so hopefully I'll see some changes soon!

Harder with LO2. I was under pre pregnancy weight by 4 months PP with LO1. With LO2, I don't think I got to pre preg weight until about 8 months PP. But I gained maybe 10lbs more with LO2, but also started my second pregnancy 10lbs lighter than the 1st one, so who really knows in the end. :silly:

It was pretty hard to lose after #2 but I was also more stressed so I ate poorly and didn't really workout until LO #2 was a year old.

The third time? Even worse!

Yes! So much harder the second time! Although I found with my first that after the first initial loss in those first few months I didn't lose again until I started dropping nursing sessions. So for that reason I'm trying not to stress about it this time. I think it's a common misconception that breastfeeding automatically means getting your body back fast.

It was about the same for me. I have a lot of diet restrictions with LO2's allergies, and I think that helped a lot with my weight loss. I am forced to eat healthier.

Way easier for me the second time around. I swear it's because I run between the two of them so much, I hardly have time to sit down or eat! :silly: On a more serious note- my stomach, though smaller than after baby 2, is much softer. I feel like this will change though, with more time, weaning, and actually working out. I think it's also important to note that some people never get back to pre-preg clothes, even if they weigh the same or less. I weigh what I did before my first, but my hips are wider, my rib cage is wider, and my boobs are bigger, so while some pre-preg clothes fit, my little strapless dresses and low-rise jeans probably won't again- or won't look flattering anymore.

For me I have a better diet this time around so the weight itself fell off faster. But my weight and muscle tone is much harder to get back.

It never fell off easily with #1 but I already know I'm taking leaps backwards with #2 because of my back. I care less about how my body shifts so long as I lean out. Everyone says it's harder but I'm ok with hard work  but it makes me nervous!

@Mamasig: Gah, I'm on track to gain a lot less this time!

Yes. With DS1 I lost most of the baby weight without really trying. I'm 6 months pp with DS2 and really need to lose about 15 pounds. And I gained about 10 pounds less the second pregnancy. It is not just falling off.

It's taking much longer after my second pregnancy. I'm 7 months pp and almost close to my pre pregnancy weight but my body is way different and I don't think it will go back to the same.

With my first I bounced back pretty fast and I'm pretty sure I was in pre-pregnacy clothes by 3m postpartum. This time around? Not so much! I can barely pull some pants past by thighs and definitely can't zip the others. :silly:

I'm wondering if I'll bounce back or if I should at least buy a few pair of work pants to get me through.

Was it harder to bounce back in subsequent pregnancies?
