I'm almost 38 weeks and can't believe it! With my first, it went fast until 35ish weeks and then it seemed so sloooow. I've got something going on pretty much every weekend between now and then. Add in childbirth and baby prep classes, organizing the nursery, writing thank you notes, and work and I'm really busy. But on the days where I felt so tired, uncomfortable, etc is when I think uggh when am I giving birth! I was on bed rest and anxious to meet the baby and not a lot I could do to fill my days. Once I hit 37 weeks each day felt like a year. With my second it flew by. With my third, it's feeling like it's going pretty quickly, but the hot days do seem really long. I feel like it would go faster if I wasn't so dang hot! I had preterm contractions starting at 26 weeks. When they took me off my medicine at 36 weeks my doc was sure the baby would come right away. NOPE. She decided she was comfortable now and would stay until the day after she was due. I called the OB and set up appts that are every 2 weeks and then every week. Twins on average come at 36 weeks and that's 8-9 weeks away. Eeek! So much to do. I'm going to try to get as much done as soon as possible because I'm sure I'll start getting really uncomfortable soon. Oh, it doesn't help that I had a dream last night that I went into labor at 28 weeks... which is tomorrow. I woke up thinking I need to get my hospital bag together. At this moment, I think the 3rd trimester is going to go by fast... well, until the lack of sleep and discomfort sets in.
