I think teething has been the roughest thing so far and it hasn't been that bad. At 6 weeks LO was sleeping long stretches. Is her sleep messed up? At the last growth spurt, H would only sleep for like 30 mins at a time. Oh my! I always read that weeks 6-8 are the hardest. I think it prepares you for the upcoming week...week 6-hard; week 7-harder; week 8-hardest. I would rather have him nursing all the time than be stressed over not nursing at all. At 6 weeks we were still figuring nursing out, so the more practice, the better. I was still on leave, so it was my only job, but it got easier by 8 weeks. 4 months was also hard since I was back to work and not getting much sleep. The first four weeks were crazy. Then I finally felt like I kinda had the hang of it and then bam it got crazy again. She went from sleeping thru the night to waking up every 2 hours. At 7 months, we have finally been able to sleep train LO. But it only lasted a few days for us. She ate constantly and would only sleep in my arms during the day. Night sleep wasn't affected. BUT the great news is that for the most part it didn't affect her night time sleep. She was a hungry bear all day but still did well at night so don't lose heart! You'll get through it! H is 6 wks on Tues and I think I'm seeing signs! She wants to nurse constantly, as of today, won't take a good nap, and screams bloody murder when there's not a boob in her mouth. DH is away at work for a few weeks, so I'm trying to prepare myself that this could be tough by myself!
