<description>&#60;p&#62;Any colored icing with a lot of color is going to stain, unfortunately. The best course of action is just to clea it up ASAP to minimize stains.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;C's cake had white icing under the fondant and her smash cake was pale pink, so it didnt really stain. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I think asking the kids to eat the cake outside is probably best.

&#60;p&#62;I am making M's birthday cake and we made a test cake this week. I realize that using black and red frosting coloring might be a bad idea with children running around. My husband showed me his tongue this morning and *it* was stained from the black frosting!&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Any suggestions on keeping the frosting from getting everywhere? I don't mind if it gets on my lo and I can wash her off before she toddles off to play again. For the other kids, should we ask them to eat their cake outside? :) We are having a backyard bbq...
