I had a vaginaly delivery with an epidural in case of c-section. My water broke and contractions didn't start till a few hours later and I had them within 9 hours of my water breaking so and just a few pushes. The boys were just under 6 lbs each.</p> <p>I worried the second time around that it would be tougher since the baby would most likely be bigger and since my water broke with the boys that I wouldn't know exactly when i was in labor if my water didn't break.</p> <p>I had contractions for a week but when they were real I could tell. Thank goodness this wasn't my first because things progressed super fast. I woke my husband up at 2:30 am in the morning telling him to shower i think it's time. I was starting to have stronger contractions but nothing too bad. We headed to the hospital and parked the car at 3:51am and my daughter was born at 4:53am! She practically slid out, my doctor didn't even make it to the delivery! No epidural this time since there was no time, so much more painful but the recovery was so much easier. Immediately afterwards I felt better than I had in weeks and no tearing. Pregnancy was both easier and harder the second time around. I had some extra complications the second time and I was so in so much more pain, but some of the issues from my first pregnancy were lessened with #2.</p> <p>The adjustment period was so much easier the second time around. She said each L&amp;D was easier and a lot were much shorter. She had six kids! With the sixth she barely made it - I think she was in labor less than 2 hours before delivering!</p> <p>and yeahhhh tell DH no freaking way you're getting pg at 3 months pp hahaha. that's so soon! My pregnancy with my third was so hard physically. I lost 15 lbs and had days I could hardly stand I was so nauseous, it was terrible until I was almost 20 weeks. And then I was so uncomfortable-not big but uncomfortable. However, with ds I had GD and ended up with preterm labor with 32 weeks, which landed him in the NICU for 15 days. This time around, even though I'm uncomfortable, I've made it to term and I don't have GD. I pushed for four HOURS with Owen, and about eight minutes with Eloise. </p> <p>The whole adjustment has also been a lot easier this time. Even though we are still working out the logistics of two kids, it just hasn't been as big of a shock to the system. Before Owen was born, we had been living abroad, traveling, etc. All of a sudden we were parents, and it threw me for a massive loop having to adjust everything about our lives.
