@Dandelion: God yes. DD had her head under my right ribs and her butt under my left, as her brother was blocking all the space underneath. The rib pain I had was excruciating! She even bruised them from the inside- my husband noticed dark spots on my ribs that turned out to be bruises from her huge noggin. If you can try and turn him easily, give it a shot!

@Mrs. Jump Rope: Same, my LO was always breech so I never knew different.

Her head was under my left ribs and feet under right, so I never got huge kicks or anything, but I did pee CONSTANTLY.

Yes!!!!!!! She was head under right ribs and butt over my left hip. I was in pain for the entire pregnancy, since she was that way up until sometime between 38-39 weeks. I didn't feel her flip back, thank god, but the doc said she was heads down once he got in there(I had a scheduled csection for other reasons). I felt her try to flip once, and I thought I was going to vomit, it hurt so bad. I never thought a breech baby would hurt so had. I told friends that if they knew someone whose baby was breech, to feel bad for them, because they are probably in pain. Hopefully the pain goes away soon, and he flips!

I felt really off if that makes sense.. Her head was under my right rib, and both legs/feet under my left. I have stretch marks in a crescent shape from her!

It felt like I was winded all the time, like it was harder to breathe.

But she was always in that position, so it wasn't a sudden change for me.

It was pretty uncomfortable and a little freaky when I saw her head push out. So weird :)

She was a pretty tiny girl, but I have a very short torso, so yeah, it was uncomfortable, but not horrible.

It was uncomfortable once I hit 35 weeks or so. Maybe a little before, though I didn't know he was breech then. The main issue was that he would stand on my pelvis and push up towards my diaphragm, which hurt my ribs and made it hard to breath. If get into little fights with him trying to push him back down and to get off his legs. He really liked snuggling up to right under my heart, though, so it was a constant battle. I also had horrific heartburn because of it. How far along are you, again?

LO is breech/oblique...meaning, his head is up under my left rib and his bottom is over my right hip. He flipped that way last week (THAT was a weird feeling!) and they mentioned it during my ultrasound on Tuesday.

I've been pretty comfortable this pregnancy up until this point! I know he's bigger, too, but being kicked on the bottom while having a head in my ribs is really annoying!

I'm not concerned about him flipping back for labor, since I'm have a c section anyways, but this is uncomfortable! Maybe I should try turning him anyways? Will I have any relief?
