He met me when I was 6 months old.<br /> My dad was there for the birth of my oldest son though. He didn't watch him actually comes out or anything like that. He was way above my head in the corner by the window. He doesn't have to be in the room the whole time but honestly he's more likely to handle being there better than my mother. He was an EMT and a police officer, he's seen some shit and he's helpful and pretty chill. It doesn't gross me out. My mom was very understanding when I told her I only wanted DH in the room with me when I had my kids, and she said that's all she wanted in the room when she had us kids. I do know that for my brother, my dad was out doing deliveries(he delivered auto parts) and they were having trouble getting in touch with him to let him know my mom was in labor.
