Once the scar tissue was removed and I tried the estrogen cream he basically said it was he was certain it was BFing (which he had said from the beginning) and to come back if it didn't improve a few months after weaning - which it did. </p> <p>@yin: @rattles: It is very encouraging to read that some women have it easier with #2. This time has been so very different. It was less painful at five weeks than at eight or nine months the first time. With DS2 I was back to normal around 3-4 months. I'm currently breastfeeding at 15 months and have no issues. I don't mean nursing during sex obviously but having sex during the months you were BFing. </p> <p>Even though I worked very closely with my OB I was not able to have sex with DH postpartum until I daytime weaned LO1 at 13 months. I had scar tissue removed, tried estrogen treatments, used ridiculous amounts of lube but nothing seemed to make a noticeable difference. It was a really hard time for DH and he is not on board for that again... neither am I. </p> <p>Wondering if I should expect the same with LO2. </p>
