We had a regular schedule of chores divvied up between the kids, and my mom stayed at home.</p> <p>As we got older, my mom started working and everyone else stopped doing their chores. So things were a bit less clean... but it was still manageable. It helped that some family members had moved out of the house by that point.</p> <p>Was your house clean growing up?
