OMG. LO was crazy colicky. It started at birth and lasted until she was 4 months old. In all the books I read about colic, it said that it just seems to disappear on its own, randomly. And that's what happened...Just one day I realized LO hadn't cried in several hours and I was shocked. For the first four months, LO cried more hours in the day than not. It was insane. :(

LO had reflux, and it too a crazy long time for us to realize it. We would just cry and cry for hours straight, and nothing would soothe her. I was going crazy, it's not easy going through that all day long with a baby every single day! But we finally realized what the problem was, and took her to the doctor, I think around 3 1/2 months. She got meds and that helped a lot, and we learned not to keep her upright after eating.

Dh heard from his boss about colicky babies and came home frantic last night asking what causes it... from what I know it's just inconsolable crying due to digestive issues?

Have you experienced this? For how long? How did LO get better?
