I think if she seems to be using it with purpose and it is consistent, you can count it. I tried really, really hard not to count "poop," but everyone else kept saying, "Oh! She knows what poop is! She corrected it and says it right except a w for the r now. (similar to how kids say "nana" when they mean banana) she is 18 months. She would call it out when she couldn't see me or DH, much like we would call out her name if she crawled out of sight. I think she thought it meant "where are you?" or "come back." Now she has more words and she doesn't say it anymore.
