DS has always stopped crying as soon as I picked him up after all 3 (2 mo, 4 mo, 6 mo). After the 2 mo, he was suuuuper sleepy for about 24 hrs after and semi-cranky when he was awake. The sleepiness was shorter for the 4 mo shots, and after just having his 6 mo last week, he didnt seem to have much of a reaction at all!

bumping, but TOTALLY different! her 2-month shots were hellish. she screamed bloody murder during and after, and then all night and was miserable the next day.

this go-round, she screamed just when they stuck her and stopped when I picked her up. she was more angry that I was taking too long to nurse her, haha..she had a mild fever last night (99.2) and 100 this morning but besides that she's the total opposite of last time!

LO was about the same for all her shots. She only cried for about 10-15 minutes right after; and then she ran a fever and was very needy the day after. Both times; I had to come and get her from daycare after her shots because she had a high fever and wanted to be held 24/7. She was fine when we got her home; just clingy.

my kids have been totally fine at all of theirs. we do split them up so they haven't gotten more than 3 at a time though and wait 2 weeks until going back for the other 2-3. their most recent ones, they barely even cry, it's amazing! i will say that something at their 4 month shots gave them both a big red lump at the injection site....i think the dtap.

She never had bad reactions to any of her shots...just a minute of crying before she found her thumb. I think she napped longer after shots.

LO reacted differently at each set of vaccinations!

Her two month vaccinations were the worst. She screamed for four hours afterward. I felt horrible! We haven't had a reaction like that since, though.

She just had her 15 month appointment, and she's been miserable for the last four days.

Good luck to you and your LO!

For his 2 month shots, DS was great. He was done crying by the time the nurse put the band-aids on, he didn't have any desire to comfort nurse, and didn't spike a fever. He has his 4 month shots tomorrow, and it just occurred to me that this time might not go as well.

How did you LO react to shots?
