Both her deliveries were 7hrs max from realizing she may be going into labor to holding her new babies. My mom had my brother first. Bro came three weeks early... mom had 36 hours of labor, terrible pre e and bro came out blue. Mom was in the ICU at the hospital where she delivered and my bro was taken to the NICU at another hospital. Everyone is totally fine now but it was a bad situation for a couple of day there. Now I'm intrigued to see what will happen with me. :) </p> <p>My mom's first four births were normal, straightforward, and (relatively) natural. Unfortunately she had a c-section with #5 in her late 30s, when my brother tried to dive out of her womb hands first. My mom had natural births, all came very quickly. My sister came out 20 minutes after she got to the hospital. (mostly about when you gave birth : late, early, c-section etc)</p> <p>I never really paid much attention to it... but now that I think about it, my son was born 1 week late, as I was for my mom. And my sister arrived 2 weeks early... so maybe so will baby girl?</p> <p>On the weight and length front it's not even close, but I don't think that part is genetic what so ever. </p> <p>Did you give birth to your first similar to your mom? </p>
