My DD always makes it a point to say "I can do that TOO!" .. yeah, well of course, you are almost 6? So no, she is not impressed. But she was really excited that he learned to use the potty, surprisingly.

We had a lot of jealousy issues so I wasn't expecting him to but he was - anytime his little sister, rolled, walked, talked, etc he was her biggest cheerleader! I loved it!

No older sibling (yet), but my LO's cousin that he sees weekly is very unimpressed with L's new skills. I think his parents talked up the whole 'having a cousin to play with' thing a little too much, so he's kind of just like, "Yeah, big deal, he can crawl. He's still a baby and can't play right." LOL

My toddler is usually very excited when her little sister does something new....sitting up, assisted standing, army crawling, saying mama, etc. But she was in a cranky mood last night when we were gushing over LO 2 when she said "Wa-wa" after she took a sip out of her straw cup.

"MOMMY, DADDY....it's WATER not Wa-Wa. Don't let her call it Wa-Wa!"
