It wasn't until adulthood that I learned how much I need exercise and healthy activity to feel good and happy in my life. I'll only limit my daughter's tv time if it becomes a problem, because we certainly enjoy these things. When we were little the tv and remote were housed up out of our reach and we were only allowed PBS and a few, select cartoons.<br /> Getting older, we watched tv together only after dinner for about an hour before bed. Once we were preteens/tweens we were limited to watching one show a day, but we could choose the show. So there wasn't much to watch anyways. And we had to get our homework done and all chores as well. We only got PBS and a local station off of bunny ears until I was about 10 years old.
