I'll admit, I don't wash new clothes I buy either because I'm always afraid they'll shrink and won't fit as nicely as they did in the dressing room, but that seems silly now! I have washed thrifted cloth toys in a pillow case and semi-dried them in the dryer and then let them air dry completely.
