I was just really happy I wasn't out in public or at work. But yeah...i felt a "pop" and then water gushed everywhere, just like the movies! The last few weeks, I would wear a pad and carry towels, just in case. I think the initial breakage varies significantly in quantity and drama, but it's not like you could change clothes and just stay dry- there's going to be some ongoing leakage no matter what. But i had the same concerns and wore a pad the last few days whenever i went out. I will say to keep a change of clothes, especially underwear, maxipads and a small hand towel with you just in case. I had both a pad and towel to sit on but by the time I got to the hospital, I was soaked. I know that the big splash doesn't happen to everybody and more often just in movies. I'd like to hear from you guys about going into labor while at work and how you dealt with that. Did you go home first or straight to the hospital? Did you keep a change of clothes at the office? </p>
