I think your body really does know what it needs. Today I drank so much more than normal and wanted to. @MsLipGloss: so true!

I don't think having a lower water intake for a day here or there is going to make a huge difference. I'm usually a 100+ oz per day person but I also have days where I just don't feel like drinking that much water. I can usually tell though when I haven't drunk enough as I get pretty lethargic and my digestive system definitely lets me know I'm slacking off! The odd day here and there though shouldn't cause any harm.

My first two weeks of morning sickness, I could NOT drink water. Our tap water still makes me nauseous, and I can't drink fountain drinks made with local tap water either. This was after over a week of drinking 80-100oz a day. I can finally drink bottled water, at least - gone through a 24 pack in 4 days. Also, that 64oz a day includes water found in food and other drinks - I wouldn't stress about getting exactly 64oz of straight water a day (though I would encourage getting to that mark very frequently.)

I'm totally bad at remembering to drink water. Even now, I have to force myself to drink water or else I forget. Well, now i'm paying the price with this horrible constipation!

I am constantly thirsty so I pretty much go everywhere with a water bottle. It gets annoying at night.

I've always been bad at drinking water. Probably why I get so many migraines, I'm dehydrated all the time. Luckilly water is all I drink. I usually just keep a glass of cold water next to me so I'm more tempted to drink it.

I've never really had this issue, i get at least 100 oz a day, however sometimes I struggle more on the weekends then I do at work. At work i'm constantly fililng up my water cup, it's my way of stretching my legs and getting out of my chair.

It sounds like you're making the right efforts to keep your fluid intake up, so it sounds like you're in good shape. I think it is most important that you listen to your body, and if it's telling you (on any given day) that it's just not that thirsty, then there's no use trying to force yourself to drink a ton of water. Consistency doesn't mean perfection. :)

I think the goal is to hit lots of ounces of liquid in a day (non-carbonated, non-caffeinated). So if you're just not feeling the water, maybe lemonade will do it? Or, when I get sick of water, I add a little Crystal Light to the bottle to make it taste differently.
And I think even watery food counts, like watermelon. I ate a quarter of one on Saturday (delicious, but I then felt watered down!).

I drink tons of water when I'm eating, but stand alone - not so much. I'm sure a day here and there is okay. Like you said, just don't make a habit of it. I'm sure they'll be other days where you "makeup" for it.

UGH, I've NEVER been a water person, so that's been really hard throughout pregnancy thus far!

I've been packing bottles of water to work to keep better track and make sure I drink enough water.

Do you ever just go a day where you're not thirsty and the last thing you want to do is drink water? That's the day I'm having so far. I usually can suffer through what I have to drink each day but today my body isn't having any of it. Is it okay to go a day without drinking as much as normal while pregnant? Like drinking just say, 40oz instead of 90, as long as you don't do it all the time?
