My son is almost 3.5. If we had an outdoor space I know he would LOVE a water table. Currently, he's the kid constantly digging in the sandbox and begging me to let him get water to play with too when we are at the playground.

My neighbours' kids are 3.5 and 5.5 and they still play with their water table all the time! It's definitely a toy that has a long lifespan.

I am debating getting my 3.5 year old a water table for the summer. We never had one but the apartment we are in now has enough space on the deck and I think she'd like it. She plays in the tub and likes to play in the sink.

Does anyone else have a preschooler that still enjoys playing in a water table? Or do you think this would be a toy with a short lifespan (for her age group)?
