I drain it every night but sometimes just during the day it gets yucky with bugs and such. The one year olds immediately spotted the drain and kept pulling it, which got the older kids pulling it too. It didn't even occur to me that this would be a problem! I'm a wimp and would probably struggle to dump a full table, but instead I'm stuck constantly refilling. @raintreebee: a cover would be very useful. I'm having to clean out tree debris every day before I fill it. I might buy a tarp of some sort. @Bluebonnet: cool! It has a drain, but you have to reach under the water table to open/close it.
