I'd think your feet would get wet if you were wearing business casual pumps or flats, regardless of how waterproof the shoes are - a big portion of your feet would be uncovered, wouldn't they? Maybe you could do a pair of ankle boots like one of these?

Same as @Alba4: @Foodnerd81: I keep a ton of nice shoes at my desk and then have a pair of flats I usually wear to and from work, but when it's raining, I wear the rain boots and just change once I get there.

I have a pair of Keen maryjanes that are waterproof. They aren't the *cutest* shoes ever, but they keep my feet dry, at least! I don't see my exact ones, but these are similar:
http://www.keenfootwear.com/products/shoes/women/139,3469_-9,50-100

Closer to $100 though, but you could probably find cheaper elsewhere.

Croc ballet flats? I think they are water proof (though of course your foot might still get wet in any ballet flats. These aren't bad looking. I just did rain boots when it was really raining and changed.

I'm at a loss... I would wear my boots for the walk and then change at work into presentable shoes, when I lived in the city. Before I did that, I ruined many a pair of shoes!

Looking for something that's waterproof to wear during the warmer months when it's raining out. Something that is business casual appropriate. Under $50.

Any suggestions?
