I didn't cut myself but it was close. I did nothing for awhile but didn't want to keep au natural clean during that lovely post-partum period. Having a gal with a 4 mo old baby do the job was awesome. I just told her what my goal was and she waxed what needed to be waxed. It was so much less painful than I expected! I'm a total convert. Like @mrs. confetti said, after L&amp;D, how bad can a 15 min wax be? So true. At least for me, I think having been through birth once before made all the difference. I know my pain tolerance might be a little higher than average but not that much. **I can only whole heartedly recommend it to those 2nd time + moms. It would have been really awkward for me before LO1. Last time I went every 4 weeks all the way to the bitter end. It was TREMENDOUSLY more painful during pregnancy and I had to quit because I would break out in a sweat during the wax because it hurt so bad. She said to avoid any trimming, shaving, waxing after 30 weeks because it can cause infection in case of an emergency c-section. </p> <p>I'm blissfully unaware of what's going on down there. </p>
