Just an update - temp dropped this morning and then AF a few hours later. I'm thinking I must have just ovulated about a week later than I thought, which is weird because I had a peak reading on the CBOM on the date I originally thought I o'ed, but apparently you can have a peak reading and still not ovulate at that time. So that sucks because I missed the fertile window completely this cycle.

In any event, glad to be back to cycle day 1.

@mrsrain: My temps have stayed high, but I'm taking that with a grain of salt since I did get a new thermometer in the middle of the cycle.

Have your temps stayed high? Maybe you didn't actually ovulate... I think it's possible for ovarian cyst to cause a weirdly long cycle, too, and to falsely elevate body temps.

@Alivoo01: Thanks for sharing. It's helpful to know that at least two other hellobee'ers have been in a similar situation.

I had the same experience as @mfa_lady: regarding a super late cycle. Nothing for a week past her expected arrival, constant BFNs also, then I tested positive for 2 days, but then lost it that weekend.

@mfa_lady: Thanks. I was thinking it might be something like that too. Like I almost don't want to end up getting a BFP because I have such a bad feeling about this cycle. My other thought is that maybe my body geared up for ovulation but just didn't do it. I did get a new BBT in the middle of the cycle, so I'm not sure I can trust the change in temps.

I'm sorry you're going through this--it's so frustrating!

Take this with a grain of salt because my experience is NOT normal (and actually was, I think, a total fluke). I had something similar happen a couple of years ago. No BFP but also no AF for quite some time after my period was due. I kept testing, and eventually got a faint BFP. However, it was clear that something was not right from the beginning--I just had a weird/uneasy feeling. The pregnancy ended in missed miscarriage.

Like I said, I think my experience is DEFINITELY the minority. But, I'd take a test a week or something just to make sure. Good luck!

I'm super confused. I should be 21 dpo today, but I just got another BFN and no AF. How is that even possible?

I also O'ed super late this cycle, so my last period actually ended on Jan. 3. I suppose I could have miscalculated my O date, but I had a peak reading on the clearblue ovulation monitor, which corresponded to temps and CF indicating ovulation. So I'm pretty sure I got the ovulation date right, but then how could I be 21dpo with no period and BFNs?

I just weaned in January, so it makes sense for my cycles to be messed up, but I didn't think the luteal phase was supposed to be this erratic.

Not sure what I'm asking. Just wanted to see if anyone has ideas of what might be going on.
