HOWEVER, if you can't find a 7$ spot, you can apply for the child care tax benefit; based on your income and how much the spot costs, they will cover up to 75% of the amount (paid out in equal monthly installments). </p> <p>For example, my spot costs 25$/day and I receive 390$, which means I only pay the difference - usually about 160$/month. It's comparable to the 7$/day - only 6$ more, in fact.</p> <p>As for the topic ; from where are they going to find this money?the province is sinking all the money into "green" energy (and don't even get me started on the windmills) and headed towards bankruptcy. I feel very conflicted about it. On one hand, I so badly want IVF to be more accessible to families struggling with IF. But on the other hand, I see it as pure politicking on the part of the Wynne government (whom I support) in what is clearly a run-up to an election that comes with all the usual spending promises in order to buy votes. And it comes at a time when the province can't afford it.</p> <p>Great for people who are seeking IF treatments. Bad for our provincial budget.
