I also tried a bunch of things (walking, sweeping membranes, certain foods, nipple stimulation, etc) but my lo was like ill come when I'm good and ready! Didn't try it though--I was too cranky and overdue, but I've heard it works. I tried everything except pumping, which apparently can help because it stimulates oxytocin. Good luck! I'm partly freaking out because it has gotten way too cumbersome for me to be working and I was getting paranoid something was going to happen in front of the kids (I'm a teacher), so I started my maternity leave today thinking I can't be that far off if I'm at a 3 and 100% effaced.</p> <p>Curious to know what people tried and what might have worked....although I know for some, nothing works and everyone is different! </p>
