@chopsuey: I don't do any crazy boot camp exercise, but I will typically walk at least 1 hour a day with LO. Now I'm thinking of joining a gym again :meh:

@KelLeeLeee: Thanks for the tips! My doctor also suggested low carb and low sugar.

I am a registered dietitian - and from what I have learned, sugar affects triglycerides in your blood the most. Sugar can come from things that you would expect - fruit, candy, junk food, etc. but also from bread, yogurt, certain vegetables. Exercise will also help. Basically, just continue to eat healthy, and watch excess sugar :) Sorry, I don't have a magic fix for you!

hurmm.. do you exercise?
if you're eating healthy, that's the only thing I can think of.
I'd eat lots of leafy greens and nuts too!

I got my lab results back from my doctor and everything is normal, but my triglycerides are on the higher side :( I'm kind of surprised because we eat pretty healthy the majority of the time (mainly chicken/fish, lots of veggies and fruit, whole grain bread, etc)

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to lower this number? I did some research online, but figured I would check here to see if anyone has first hand experience. Thanks!
