Each time is so random and not predictable. I can get 2 oz for 2 pumps in a row then 3 or 4 the next.

Thanks ladies! I downloaded a water log app for my phone to keep track of water and make goals. My goal is 104oz and I meet that and some. I will start to drink4 cups of the mothers Milk Tea. I eat steel cut oatmeal almost everyday and usually have lactation cookies on hand (ran out of flax). I am thinking about the milk plus capsules.

I usually make anywhere from 2 1/4oz to 6oz each time. 6oz was this morning, never any other time. I am still falling short on what DS wants.

My supply on one side dropped after I got sick and I found drinking tons of water helped the most. I tried to power pump (10 minutes on and off for a full hour) but just didn't have time. It took about two weeks but I got my supply back up.

My biggest was drinking tons of water. And taking more milk plus seemed to help.

Don't feel bad. I used to pump every 1.5 hours and would get 1 oz from the left and 1-2 from the right. I tried it all.. Oatmeal, almonds, power pumping, fenugreek, mothers milk plus, prescriptions to increase, etc. and nothing ever changed. Some people just produce less milk then others. I was constantly frustrated and trying to change things and it didn't help. I even saw a lactation specialist and she told me to be happy I get anything and I came to terms that I would never have a freezer or refrigerator full of milk like some people.

I agree that the amount is actually really good. (Although I'm not sure if you mean per pump or per day). Babies average 25 ounces a day. You're usually good if you're over 30. My right is usually about an ounce less than my left. You could pump longer on that side to try to increase the demand.

@MrsBeachyBaby: Pumping 3/4oz is actually not bad! It's actually normal...but if you want to keep increasing, try drinking more water, taking fenugreek, mothers milk plus, oatmeal...

I have been pumping every feeding except the morning feeding usually to see how much LO is getting b/c of weight issues. My left breast has so much less milk than my right. My left besides morning pumping usually gives me 3/4oz-1oz and my right I get about 2-4oz depending. What ways did you find successful to increase supply? If I pump for an hour off and on to stimulate, how often do I have to do that for it to work?
