We had really awful diapers with like a skin peeling diaper rash when we first started transitioning to WCM, which didn't make a whole lot of sense to me because he was on dairy-based formula, ate cheese and yogurt, etc. So we moved him to Enfamil Toddler Transitions for 6 more weeks and then tried again and it went fine. His system just wasn't quite ready for straight up milk and now he drinks milk with no issues.

We switched to a hypoallergenic formula early on for milk intolerance issues and tried to transition to cow's milk at 1. It was awful - severe constipation. Like screaming and crying when she tried to poop. We switched to almond milk and haven't had any issues since. Interestingly, she does fine with cows milk yogurt and cheese - her ped told me that yogurt and cheese are easier on the digestive system than milk so that's why she can tolerant those but not milk. I can't remember why that is

She was having a lot of gas and awful diapers. She also was resisting drinking milk. We switched to lactose free WCM. Digestive issues stopped, and she gulps down her milk.

We gave our kids dairy but drinking straight WCM was a bit harder for them until closer to 18 months. I would suggest talking about a milk alternative or toddler formula.

DD2 has been on WCM for just over a month now, and I'm starting to suspect that she's having troubles with it. We acutally switched her to 2% because of constipation, but now I think it's just the milk in general. What signs did you see?

She's gotten sick at daycare 2x and our in home lady says that she thinks it's the milk (she spits it up and then feels great) but it's not all the time and she's had dairy from about 8 months on with no issues.
