@Weagle: Agreed! They're just so easy to pop in and out of, whereas I feel wrapping (at my noob stage) takes too long.

I've got a black one for work, a rainbow with a pocket for the lake/campfires, a splash for swimming, and my Frigga Azul (that I luuuurve <3 ) for dressier wear, so I don't NEED a 4th regular sling (I can not-count the water sling, right? ;-) ), but I want it. Ha!

@indi: I am a huge fan of RSs. I seriously love them, and have 4 at the moment. Maybe more coming :). BUT, by the time I wanted to try wrapping, my LO was way too wiggly and uninterested. Granted, that's my baby's personality, not a general rule. This time around, I'm going to start wrapping early. If I don't like it then I'll sell or split my wrap(s).

@scg00387: Thanks for the advice! @fussygal: & @Weagle: help seal the deal - Gira wins!

Now the big Q is whether I buy the converted sling straight from Zanytoes or buy a size 6 wrap and really try to make myself get more into wrapping. I'm leaning toward the sling just for ease of use right now. I can always sell a different sling or wrap if I want to fund a wrap version later if I get more into wrapping when she's a bit bigger.

Gira snowflame was my first WCRS. It was great! Much more comfortable than my linen. I really think that you should get a conversion if you know you like babywearing. It will last you longer and is more comfortable.

I don't have much babywearing experience (just ordered my first RS through SBP), but I think the Girasols are sooo pretty. If I had a bigger budget I would go with that!

@indi: I have a SBP twill and honestly, I'd skip it if you know you're already into babywearing. Get something you'll love, that will last longer as LO gets heavier.

I'm looking to add to my stash..so help enable me. Haha! I'm suffering from a bout of indecision. LO is 3 months old and we're in a climate with hot summers (upper 70s-90+). I haven't yet been reaching for the woven wrap we have, so I can't justify buying a Gira SFD size 6 if I'll barely use it. :-/ So, of the ring slings below, which would you suggest?

Zanytoes WCRS Girasol Snow Flame Diamonds - $98 after coupon http://zanytoes.net/item_45/Girasol.htm
SBP Linen RS in either Emerald Green or Royal Purple - $70 w/ pocket http://www.sleepingbaby.net/proddetail.php?prod=nlinen
SBP Twill RS in Sangria - $54 w/ pocket http://www.sleepingbaby.net/proddetail.php?prod=french

I could be good and get nothing…or be smart and go with one of the cheaper ones. I'm a very frugal person. But Snow Flame is so pretty, and my birthday is coming up, so I could justify any of these. LOL.
