LO1 came down with it last Thursday night then DH and I started with it at the same time Saturday afternoon and LO2 a few hours later. It is rough! Luckily the worst is over within 4-6 hours or so. I would really suggest being gentle with your stomach for several days after. On Tuesday I was starving so probably ate stuff I shouldn't have and got sick all over again. For the past two months, our family has been plagued by strep, stomach flu, sinus infections, and colds. The doctor said yesterday to me that "January and February was a tough month for you guys!" DH and I got the stomach flu a few months back together. It was a rough weekend parenting two little kids. Right now, J got over the stomach flu, but has a cold, and was vomiting up formula. He's being eased back into it. DH and I have sinus infections. I'm on my 4th course of antibiotics in 2 months. I hate this winter. DH woke up with a migraine in the middle of the night but is better this AM. I've started attacking our house with Clorox Wipes to kill the germs. I ate a little last night, but not much. I'm drinking tea this morning and trying to get up the energy to get in the shower. Mercifully, my sister is coming up this weekend to help us recover.</p> <p>Thanks for your thoughts. Hugs. LO and DH had it last week and by some miracle I escaped unscathed, but I had to work (remote, from home office) and it was impossible. DH could hardly sit up, they were both puking everywhere, LO somehow was not slowed down at all and still crawling around like a demon and crying to be held... at one point I had to strap her on in a mei tai while building a spreadsheet for a client while DH was puking. Fun times! It happened to us on Christmas day and continued for almost 2 weeks for LO. Make sure to stay hydrated the best you can. Get through it one day at a time. We were lucky that I got hit with it first and recovered in time for DH to catch it.
