@banana: @rachiecakes: hehe seriously! I think it is actually curd-y, like cheese! EWWW!!

@sloaneandpuffy: that's exactly what I thought when I was running the wash-- if cloth diapers get clean in a washing machine, one big poop can't hurt the other clothes, right? :)

Breastmilk poo isn't sterile but it's water soluble! A wash should do it... Works on diapers :)

I don't know why but I just feel like everything from a baby is sterile! They're only a few months old and haven't been contaminated by our environment yet. Totally doesn't make sense but it just seems like babies are so pure! BTW, why is their poop yellow and seedy? Never understood why.

@mrs. wagon: omg this happened to me when DS was smaller, the pant-filler! It was a favorite outfit, too. Only we don't have laundry in our building! I washed it out a million times in the tub but I swear after bleaching and scrubbing over and over I could still smell/see/felt like it was everywhere! Aaahh! so gross.. hahaha

LMW just had her craziest poopsplosion yet. It was a throw away the outfit kind of situation... but it's one of my favorite pajamas of hers (and of course it's white). So I rinsed the poop off, rinsed and squeezed a few times, then just doused it in detergent and started a load of laundry. I also threw in the Baby Bjorn babysitter seat cloth (removable and washable! I was wrong in my blog post about it!) and a bunch of other clothes waiting to be washed.

Now all I can think is I should have kept rinsing and wringing out the pajamas until the water ran clear. I'm just picturing the entire load of laundry in poop water. I'm gonna run the wash again right after it's over with more detergent to make sure there's no trace of poop water :)

I've washed my hands a million times but I still feel like I have poop on my hands.

Normally poop doesn't bother me much but this was the worst yet!! I had to put her on her belly to take off the outfit because the entire back was soaked (yellow seedy breastmilk stools!) and when I pulled down the outfit, poop got all over her legs and feet too. YUCK!!

Sorry. I had to tell someone!! Haha.
